sportslogos.netA common topic on West Ham discussion boards of late has been the poor management of the club.

I've also just read that Hogan Ephraim's two-month loan to QPR has been EXTENDED for another month...leaving West Ham bereft of attacking options.

As it stands, we have Ethrington, Noble, Mullins, Reid, and Bowyer in our midfield rotation. That's it.

Are you honestly telling me that after spending £28 million this summer we're reduced to counting on the likes of Noble, Mullins, and Reid?

It's unfair to say that the injuries are Alan Curbishley's fault, but shouldn't a good manager have efficient backups on his roster—instead of loaning out a budding young scorer like Ephraim?

Then again, getting rid of Curbishley won't necessarily solve the problem. If Eggert Magnusson—or Eggie or Biscuit Monster or whatever you want to call him—decides to ditch A.C., who's the replacement?

I don't want WH to become one of those teams that gets a new manager every six months.

That said, a loss at Sunderland this coming Sunday will be something that can't be ignored.

On the bright side, I heard Avram Grant may be looking for another club...

Another point: Why does WH insist on playing the long ball game all the time? What happened to the flowing attack that allowed us to beat Manchester United last season? What happened to the tactics we used to beat AS Roma?

Maybe I'm blind, and other teams have used superior tactics against us—or maybe WH have just lost a bit of magic.

Let me know your thoughts, please.
