Australia's captain Ricky Ponting said that his team will not underestimate India prior to their one Day Series, which starts on Sunday.

Australia has been playing some brilliant one day cricket in recent times. They won the NatWest series in England, 6-1, and backed it up by winning the ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa earlier this month.

India, on the other hand, has struggled somewhat. They failed to reach the semifinals of the Champions Trophy, but they were without several key players in that event. The hosts will be happy to welcome back opener Virender Sehwag for their series against Australia.

Ponting said that as these two sides are No. 1 and 2 in the world, he expects a very tight contest.

Last year, India beat Australia in the final of a triangular series in Australia. That tournament also involved Sri Lanka.

Michael Clarke is ruled out of the first few matches due to injury. It would take a brave person to Bet against Australia winning the series.
