The Future of Portland Blazers Broadcasting is Almost Here

Yesterday the Trail Blazers announced the streaming of all 15 games which will be televised on KGW Channel 8. It's the first step in a process to make all Blazer games available to everyone, even if it's not on their televisions. It's a step in the right direction, as more media moves to the internet, the NBA has no choice but to keep up.

The only hitch in this progress is the remaining games to be televised by Comcast. Negotiations are apparently ongoing but with the way Comcast has been regarding negotiations with the satellite companies, it will be a tough battle. Let's just hope this is a building block to more positive news and not a dead end. Here's the press release:
