Quarterback play has been questionable this season. There really are not many quarterbacks who are projected NFL starters down the road.  Guys like Jimmy Clausen and Jake Locker hold huge advantages over guys like Bradford, McCoy and Tebow who operated out of the shotgun every play.

1a: Jimmy Clausen*  - Running a pro system and is being asked to do more throwing the football than any other college QB. If he came out after this season, he would have a legitimate chance at being the first QB selected and would be projected to go mid to late 1st round.

1b: Jake Locker* - He has showed he can play in the NFL. Big, strong kid who is a classic dual threat quarterback with great intangibles.  Playing in a pro style system under Steve Sarkisian is only helping his stock. Projects as a First round pick if he came out after this year.

3. Zach Robinson - Decisive, agile quarterback who has the skill set to succeed in the NFL. A poor mans Mark Sanchez. Having a solid senior season. Has limited mistakes and continues to make plays. He will be at best a late 2nd round selection and at worst, drops to the later rounds.

4. Thaddeus Lewis-  Learning under QB tutor David Cutcliffe, who mentored Peyton and Eli Manning. Strong arm and has the ability to manipulate the football. Has a great feel to how to play the position. Projects as a Mid round pick.

5. Joey Elliot - Having a breakout season in his first season as starter. Leads the Big Ten in passing (I know thats not saying much) but he continues to pick defenses apart week after week. He was the reason Purdue upset Ohio State last week. Looks to be a  6th round draft pick.
