Cavaliers Manhandle Mavericks

Frankie AnetzbergerContributor IIOctober 21, 2009

Now it may have had something to do with starting their starters in the second half, but the Cavaliers issued a serious beat-down on the Mavericks in Pittsburgh Tuesday night. Lebron didn't have a spectacular game, it was Mo Williams with double-double. Mo had 16 points and 11 points to lead the Cavaliers over the Mavericks 96-66.

It didn't look like the Mavericks planned on playing their starters in the second half. Dirk Nowitzki left the bench to join TV announcers and started calling players. So in fairness to the Mavs, the 30 point loss isn't that bad considering they didn't play their starters.

Jamario Moon played a decent game. Moon scored eight points, grabbed five boards, and blocked two shots.

Former Toronto Raptor Kris Humphries had a great game. Kris finished with 20 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks. I don't remember much from Kris when I covered the Raps, but I didn't know he shot the three ball. Kris attempted four three-pointers.

The next game for the Cavaliers will be against the Celtics at the Value City Arena in Columbus to conclude the pre-season.

One more note: LET'S GO YANKEES!!!
