Many of my fellow Denver Broncos fans are proving to have very short memories. It was just a few months back that Headcoach Josh McDaniels was taking the sort of abuse usually reserved for convicted felons. That has changed now. The Broncos are the talk of the NFL at 6-0. More and more people are jumping on the bandwagon - and I include Bronco fans in that - which is fine - We should be celebrating our teams fantastic start to the season. However, some are getting a little TOO excited, even going as far to say that the Broncos are now heading back to the Superbowl. That sort of talk is just too damn early for me, lets see how the next month goes first ! Objective number one is to take the AFC West, and right now we are in great position for that, with a 3.5 game lead over San Diego. Anything else can go firmly onto the back-burner.

More than the wins, it has been the way the team are playing for each-other and having a tough attitude. This does not look like a team who will throw-away a 3 game lead with 3 to go. If San Diego do recover to win the West, they will deserve, rather than inherit, it. It is amazing that coaching has made such a huge difference in the way the Broncos and the rest of the league, perceive themselves.

What I am saying here is this: Lets stay humble. No-one likes a cocky, big-headed attitude. Be happy and thankful that the team are totally 100% better than any of us thought possible, and enjoy the wins, every one is special, you can never say when the next one is going to come around - look at last seasons 13-3 Tennessee Titans for proof of that.

Go Broncos.
