Major Media Website Bashes The Leafs

Ken BeckettCorrespondent IOctober 21, 2009

This photo has in no way been doctored or tampered with.

This is what actually appeared on the post-game report that Sportsnet.ca published after the Canadiens' 2-1 shootout victory over Atlanta on Tuesday night.

Underneath a picture of Canadiens players Paul Mara, Scott Gomez, and Brian Gionta celebrating a goal, a Sportsnet writer has written the caption "Hey, at least we're not as bad as the Leafs."

Obviously somebody at Sportsnet has a great sense of humour or does not like the Leafs. Or maybe both.

Either way it should be interesting to see how long it takes until it is removed from the site.

Click here to take a better look at a Sportsnet.ca editor risking their job to make fun of the Leafs.

Update 3:46am EDT: Both the picture and caption have been removed from the site.
