With the addition of the three touchdowns Maurice Jones-Drew scored against the Rams this past Sunday, he brings his season total to a league leading eight touchdowns.

The more astonishing fact, in my opinion is Jones-Drew picks up either a first down or a touchdown 32% of the time he touches the football. Which also leads the league among non-Quarterbacks that have touched the football at least a hundred times this year.

Jones-Drew is on track to score 21 touchdowns and 1235 yards on the ground alone this season, not to mention an additional 63 catches and 652 receiving yards.

I believe Jones-Drew has now answered the question, “can a 5’7’, 24-year-old RB carry an NFL team”.
