Boston College heads to South Bend this coming Saturday (10/24) after putting up 52 points and a total of 480 yards with 290 of those yards coming from the rushing attack against N.C. State. Running back Montel Harris had a record day with 264 yards and 5 TDs.

Boston College gets to face a Notre Dame team that lost to USC for the 8th straight year. Even though Jimmy Clausen had a decent game and almost lead an amazing fourth quarter comeback to tie the game. And Clausen still has a shot at a Heisman invite with his numbers.

Unfortunately the Eagles have been less then stellar when it comes to away games. They have been outscored 73 to 21 with both loses coming at the hands of Clemson and Virginia Tech. Also Boston College has been out gained a total of 694 yards to 217 yards.

Even worse Boston College has had an identity crisis when it comes to away games and their quarterbacks Dave Shinskie, Justin Tuggle, and Mike Marscovetra who, combined, are 16/49 for 149 yards with 3 TD's and 4 INT's.

Things don't look so bright for Boston College with these stats but the rivalry between Boston College and Notre Dame is always a good one regardless of records or stats.

So with all that being said let's hope the Boston College that is 5-0 at home shows up and actually wins an away game or even keeps pace with Notre Dame.
