The phillies put in major work yesterday. To give back what they got the last time the two teams faced eachother. They avenged Pedro for his 7 inning brilliance, turned loss after lift in 8th. They finished what he started. it was supposed to be an ofer that night too. but alas, it wasn't meant to be!
This has really become the slugfest i was looking for. you can't really feel sorry for either club you just enjoy the great sportsmanship. each team adjusts and find the other teams weakness for that game and commences to trounce, pounce and leave not one shred of dignity not even an ounce. then the other comes back and does the same. one team is always left scratching their heads saying "huh?"
It's a series that keeps you on the edge of your seats. what will happen next. last night was no different with Howard as usual coming through big. But that's usual and yet it never get's old. Cliff lee provided the arm and then with the 11 we see how the "West was won" shut down their hitter and our run support: the perfect 1-2 punch! The Boxers are in philly it's the dodgers responsibility to dodge the punches or be on the receiving end of an 11-0 knockout by the phillies. THe phils have achance to make it 3-1 today. But the Dogers have an equal chance of evening it out at 2-2! this is fun! At least for me. maybe not for them. but it's must see baseball! Edge of your seat.
