Refs Add Insult To Injury?

The Giants messed up today. I don't dispute that. Nevertheless, my friends act as though I'm stupid and ignoring my team's errors when I say this: the refs made it much worse than it actually was.

Twice they gave it to the Saints in the red zone when they shouldn't have (phantom pass interference and the should-have-been-a-fumble against Shamble when he recovered Eli's fumble). The phantom holding call against O'Hara. The no-call for holding against the Saints when Bradshaw tried to stretch it to the outside.

Is it just me, or do the refs seem to exaggerate Giants losses?
