UFC 217 Opens with Terrifying Spinning-Elbow Knockout

UFC 217 started off in scary fashion. In the third round of a back-and-forth fight at Madison Square Garden, Ricardo Ramos sealed up the guaranteed victory over Aiemann Zahabi with a terrifying spinning-elbow knockout.

That's a fairly large upset from the Brazilian and a win that puts him on the map like never before. Now 11-1 in his career and 2-0 in the Octagon (with his first win coming over Michinori Tanaka), he is one of the more intriguing prospects at 135 pounds.

Unfortunately, this could make for a lengthy layoff for Zahabi. Here's hoping he recovers quickly.
