After staying up past 1am last night for the Yankees-Angels game, it is time for Major League Baseball to adjust the starting times for the playoff games. I understand that during the week MLB wants to start the games at 8pm et, due to the West Coast audience, however, there is no need for the games to start that late on weekends. The MLB playoff schedule is awful. The fact that they have day games scheduled on Friday and Monday and none over the weekend is atrocious. On the weekends, the games should start at 3:30pm et, and 7pm et. During the week, there should be no afternoon games. If they need to schedule 2 games, they should start the games at 5pm and 8:30 during the week. The World Series games on Saturday and Sunday should start no later than 7pm et.
