Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James scored a game-high 29 points in Tuesday's 102-99 season-opening victory over the Boston Celtics at Quicken Loans Arena, but the three-time NBA champion wasn't all that pleased with his performance.

"I'm out of shape," James, who was slowed by an ankle injury throughout the preseason, told TNT's Kristen Ledlow following the contest. "Very out of shape for my expectations, and rightfully so."

According to ESPN's Dave McMenamin, the 32-year-old seems serious about wanting to improve his cardio as quickly as possible:

All-time greats aren't created overnight.
