Georgia Tech beat Virginia Tech 28-23 tonight and the score was not very telling of how well the Yellow Jackets played. Georgia Tech finally played for a complete four quarters and helped their own chances in the ACC Coastal Division. Georgia Tech came in to tonight's game ranked number 19 (AP) and upset the number 4 team in the polls so that will make it interesting in the polls tomorrow.

Georgia Tech's toughest games in the ACC are behind them now and they still need some help from Miami's remaining schedule to make it to the ACC championship. Although the Yellow Jackets won tonight Virginia Tech owns the tie breaker, if it comes down to that, since they beat Miami.

With the BCS standings coming out tomorrow the voters in the polls have their hands full. Florida escaped with a win against Arkansas, Alabama is only leading South Carolina 13-6 at half time, Ohio State lost, etc. I'm hoping that Georgia Tech will move up close to the top 10, but it's going to be interesting if the ACC will get any respect now with Virginia Tech losing and probably being the best team in the conference.

NOTE: Georgia did manage to beat Vanderbilt today but their season is as good as done with Florida coming up next.....
