The San Jose Sharks came up short during the 2016-17 Stanley Cup playoffs, but the club will nevertheless honor a championship squad during the upcoming season.

Per the team's official website, the Sharks will celebrate the 2016-17 Golden State Warriors when they host the Arizona Coyotes on January 13, 2018.

Every fan who attends the game will receive a Warriors-themed San Jose jersey that features the colors of the reigning NBA champions.

The Warriors will be playing the Toronto Raptors on the road that same day, so Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and others won't be able to take the ice for any San Jose power plays.
