I just got home from watching the Celtics open practice in Lowell, MA. Overall, I was very pleased with what I saw. I got into the building right at 6pm, when the doors open, and was surprised to see the C's already out on the floor running drills.

After the drills, they were led by Assistant Coach Tom Thibodeau in some very intense defensive drills. During this segment the highlight was seeing KG all up in the face of one of the 5'2 trainers yelling "BALL, BALL, BALL, BALL, DEAD, DEAD, DEAD."

They then took a brief break before lining up on the baseline to stretch out more. By the time that was done it was around 7pm and most of the fans had arrived.

Once 7pm came, Doc Rivers took over on the mic and gave a few words telling the fans, "We are on the hunt for banner 18, and we need you support." Doc then turned the mic over to rookie Lester Hudson and Glen "Big Baby" Davis. These two (Mostly Big Baby) introduced the team and staff. Big Baby was hilarious in doing so.
