Gilbert Burns was once one of the top prospects in the UFC, but the talented Brazilian had been inconsistent in recent years, going 3-2 inside the Octagon.
He got some shine back on Saturday.
Burns uncorked a devastating overhand right before the end of the second round to flatten Jason Saggo.
It was a walk-off KO at 4:55 of the second round.
The knockout puts Burns back in the win column and gives some hope that he can live up to his past potential. Saggo now suffers the first back-to-back losses in his career and will have his back against the wall in his next outing.
Burns' KO gave UFC Pittsburgh the electric start to a night of hard-hitting action from the Steel City.
