Sure, Matt Hasselbeck is getting older, more and more injury prone, and is only signed through the 2010 season. With all this going against him (or the Seahawks for that matter), it would make perfect sense to draft a QB in a very good QB draft class. However, I see it differently. The way I see it is that we can take this opportunity, having two first round picks, to fill two major needs while Hasselbeck can provide another season or two of great QB play. Coming up are five players I think would be real possibilities for us come draft day.

Ciron Black, T, LSU

NEW ORLEANS - JANUARY 07: Quarterback Matt Flynn #15 of the Louisiana State University Tigers celebrates his 13-yard touchdown pass with Ciron Black #70 against the Ohio State Buckeyes during the AllState BCS National Championship on January 7, 2008 at t

Assuming the Seahawk's first round picks are in the middle portion of the draft, grabbing an experienced tackle would make perfect sense. Ciron Black is arguably the most experienced left tackle in the entire draft. Having started at the position for three straight season, his experience and talent would allow him to fill right in for Walter Jones when he calls it quits. He is a very intense player and loves to pass and run block equally as much.

Charles Brown, T, USC

Another guy who could be there for our pick is Charles Brown out of Southern California. Headed into his senior year, he is starting his second consecutive season as the LT. USC has a history of producing top notch lineman on both sides of the ball, and Brown would be a great fit. With his experience at LT, he too would be able to slide right in for Walter Jones.

Jonathan Dwyer, HB, Georgia Tech

With the running back position far from being locked up, the Seahawks could use one of the picks on a half back. Jonathan Dwyer is one of the top backs in the nation and his 7.0 YPC from his 2008 campaign on 200 carries, attributes to his talent. He has good size standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 235 pounds, his 2009 season is further proving he is a top back. He would be the perfect fit for the Seahawks, he isn't a guy who is a small scat back that lives off the homerun play (CJ Spiller and Jahvid Best), rather he is a guy who will run it up the middle and get the tough yards. He probably has the best combination of size, power, and speed and his stock won't be incredibly high with many teams already having one or two solid running backs.

Joe Haden, CB, Florida

Marcus Trufant is obviously the cornerstone cornerback for our defense, however past him, the question marks begin to stack up. Joe Haden has been a bit inconsistent so far this season, but the fact that he has started at CB for arguably the best school in the NCAA for for the past four seasons as a true freshman, speaks volumes for his ability. He is a play maker and loves to play physical, which is something the Seahawks need having to face Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin twice a year. He will be able to fill that second corner spot and wouldn't be a headache like some of the others (Kelly Jennings and Josh Wilson).

Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida

The Seahawks do have a lot of capable defensive ends on the team, but with Patrick Kerney being injured every season and close to retirement, getting a franchise pass rusher would serve us well. When the Seahawks defense was at their best, they had Kerney causing havoc in the backfield all game long, Dunlap can do the same. A physical freak that can rush the passer and play the run, he would become a starter right away. He may be a long shot to last to the Seahawk's pick, but if he was there, I'd think the Hawks would have to consider it.
