This week's Brain Bowl features two Pac-10 rivals as Cal travels to Los Angeles to take on UCLA. The breakdown:

One year cost of attending:

Cal: $47,194 UCLA: $25,131

75th Percentile SAT Scores for Incoming Freshmen:

Cal: Reading 710, Math 750, Writing 710

UCLA: Reading 680 Math 730 Writing 690

Percent of Applicants Admitted

Cal: 23%

UCLA: 24%

Enrollment

Cal: 34,940

UCLA: 37,476

While both school are tough to get into and have some of the highest incoming freshman SAT scores in the nation, the weather and the women push UCLA over the top, not to mention the home field advantage. I like UCLA +3.5.

Overall Brain Bowl Record 2009: 4-2 (vs spread)
