Can Dimitar Berbatov Excel In 09/10?

After a slow start to the league, Berbatov is showing great improvement from last season. More pace and enthusiasm to win, chasing after balls and the willingness to be better.

Dimitar also scored a 38 minute hat-trick for Bulgaria in their mid-week World Cup qualifier, and although it won't count for much as the Bulgarians did'nt qualify for South Africa, Sir Alex will be pleased wit his form.

Could this just be the season when Berbatov lights up England with brilliance. He has the softest touch for any of the current strikers in Europe. Footwork, back flips and the ability to bring the ball down like no other, but his laid back approach seems to a negative.

But 2009/2010 could be the season that he proves why Sir Alex paid 30 million pounds for his services. And with Owen used as a sub and occasional stater, Wayne Rooney injured and could not start against Bolton, Berba would want to stand up and be counted.

Personally i feel this is his season, and with United loosing Ronaldo & Tevez in the summer its time someone lift's their hand. Could it be him....?
