The New Orleans Pelicans have a minuscule chance of acquiring Carmelo Anthony from the New York Knicks, but at least they appear to have DeMarcus Cousins' approval.

As documented by ESPN.com's Ian Begley, the big man liked an Instagram post that pitched an "Olympic Reunion to the Big Easy" for the 2016 Team USA teammates. He also commented with eye emojis, which he probably did not mean as a veiled message of watching Anthony stop the ball with isolation plays.

While the New York Post's Marc Berman confirmed the Pelicans' interest, he also said Anthony only wants to play for the Houston Rockets. The forward can block a trade to any team.

Even if the 33-year-old entertained moving to New Orleans, which has missed the playoffs in consecutive seasons, the team has few assets of interest after acquiring Cousins in February.

Of course, Cousins' social media actions hold no actual bearing on where Anthony will play next season.
