Former Indian Captain Rahul Dravid has been left out of India's One Day squad for their ODI series against Australia, which starts next week. Dravid was given a shocking recall after two years on India's ODI squad for the ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa.

Despite being one of the team's most consistent performers, he has lost his place in the side. Yusuf Pathan and RP Singh have also been dropped from the Squad.

India will have a stern test against Australia. Ricky Ponting's men have been playing some superb One Day cricket. They beat England 6-1 in a ODI series in England and followed up that result by retaining their Champions Trophy title.

India can take heart from the fact that the last time they played an ODI series against Australia was the commonwealth bank series in Australia, where Dhoni's men emerged victorious.

It has all the makings of being a truly epic contest.

It is hard to see India upsetting the Betting Odds and beating Australia.
