Kobe Bryant Surprises Chargers at Training Camp, Welcomes Team to LA

Kobe Bryant knows a thing or two about winning in Hollywood, which made him the perfect surprise guest speaker Saturday as the Los Angeles Chargers opened training camp in Southern California. 

The Chargers' official Twitter account relayed video of the Black Mamba's introduction at their first team meeting of camp: 

Not surprisingly, several Chargers players were ecstatic to have the future Hall of Famer in their presence: 

The Chargers will have to compete with the Los Angeles Rams for the attention of La La Land's football fans, but a blessing from Bryant can't hurt as the franchise prepares to write a new chapter in September.
