It appears Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt isn't shying from a potential feud with Los Angeles Lakers rookie guard Lonzo Ball or his outspoken father, LaVar.

On Thursday, Watt took to Twitter to remind fans his new training shoe will be available at midnight Friday morning, while also making reference to Lonzo's first signature sneaker: "400 dollars less than some shoes on the market and 100% more effective," the 28-year-old tweeted.

Back in May, it was announced Ball's ZO2 Prime would retail at $495 upon release.

Any question whether Watt was hitting out at Ball or the Big Baller Brand seemed to be answered in a follow-up tweet:

On Wednesday evening, the 19-year-old first-year pro made headlines when he rocked Nike kicks for his team's Las Vegas Summer League showdown with the Philadelphia 76ers

We await LaVar's response.
