Remembering Captain Louis Albano

The sports world is saddened to hear that former professional wrestling manager Captain Louis Albano has passed today at the age of 76.

A very colorful personality, Albano will always be remembered for his on air wackiness, his gift of speech, and his cunning art of being a professional manager to the likes of the Wild Samoans, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, The British Bulldogs, George "The Animal" Steele and many more. His branch work between pro wrestling and the entertainment stream as also a benefit to the business. To work from "The Rock N Wrestling Connection," being involved with the likes of Cyndi Lauper, or being a featured role in the film "Super Mario Bros.," Albano left a mark on millions around the world.

In tribute to the loss of a very recognizable wrestling superstar, here are some video clips that Captain Lou's legacy has left behind. Left, but never forgotten, our deepest condolences from FTS go out to Albano's family and friends. Feel free to comment on this post with your thoughts and memories of Captain Lou!
