Brad Lidge was a complete mystery in the regular season. He comes in to the playoffs and gets the save to end the NLDS. So, with that said who was the Brad Lidge of the Series. In the NLDS the Brad Lidge award has to go to Huston Street. Two straight blown saves for the Rockies, which ended their chances. We are talking about the guy who should have been in consideration for comeback player of the year. He blew two saves the whole season. He comes into the postseason and matches that in two games. WOW! Now this is nothing like what Brad Lidge did but, if he closes those two games out, the Rockies are in the NLCS. Now, for the ALDS. That award has to, has to go to Joe Nathan. He comes in to game two and immediatley gets knocked around by the one-two punch of Alex Rodriguez and Mark Teixera. Blown save. In game three he has a chance to save the Twins, keeping the score at 2-1. Nope, the score ends up ballooning the score to I believe 6-1. And this is supposedly one of the most dominant closers. Saying it right now. His career against the Yankees will now always be bad.
