Charlie Weis has been owned by Pete Carroll since Weis became head coach of Notre Dame. There was the one close game capped off with the famous" Bush Push" in South Bend that shocked Notre Dame. Sadly USC has outscored Notre Dame 154 to 55 and since that game in 2005 and it has not really been the rivalry it used to be.

Charlie Weis was great when he was the offensive coordinator at New England and has been mediocre as head coach at Notre Dame.

Pete Carroll was mediocre as the New England Patriots head coach and has produced one of the best teams in college football history since the 1970's.

Hopefully this years meeting between the Trojans and Fighting Irish will be one of the best games they have ever played.

Notre Dame has a unbelievable offense lead by Jimmy Clausen, Armando Allen, and Golden Tate. While USC is lead by a string of running backs, Matt Barkley, and Damian Williams.

On the other side of the ball USC is lead by a stingy Taylor Mays and company. While Notre Dame is lead by a good core of defensive players.

This game is not a game were you can look at the statistics and predict who will win. This game will be won in the trenches by the team with more heart.

Overall this game is tough to say who will win. I am leaning towards Notre Dame because they have much more experience on both sides of the ball and now how to overcome adversity.
