The Oregon Ducks have indefinitely suspended wide receiver Darren Carrington following a DUII arrest on Saturday morning.
Per Lane County Jail records (via Andrew Greif of The Oregonian), Carrington was charged with a misdemeanor DUII following an arrest at 3:15 a.m. PT after his car allegedly collided with a McDonald's drive-through.
Oregon head coach Willie Taggart announced Carrington's indefinite suspension through a university spokesman, per Greif.
Greif added Carrington has a date to appear in Eugene Municipal Court on July 6.
Carrington is entering his senior season at the University of Oregon and has appeared in 32 games for the Ducks over the past three campaigns.
His 606 receiving yards in 2016 led the team, and his five touchdown catches tied for the most on a struggling Ducks squad.
Oregon will start the 2017 season at home in Eugene at Autzen Stadium against the Southern Utah Thunderbirds on Sept. 2.
