10.) Colorado (1-3): A gallant effort on the Buffaloes part falls short once again. Next Opponent:Kansas

9.) Illinois (1-4): This team had hopes for a Big-10 Title, but if they are not careful, they could become the laughing stock of college football. Next Opponent: Indiana University

8.) North Texas (1-4): The FAU Owls come a calling this week in a Top 10 showdown. Next: FAU

7.) Florida Atlantic (0-4): The Owls need a win and this week they might just get it. Next: North Texas

6.) Western Kentucky (0-5): They wont win a game this year with that defense. Next: La. Lafayette

5.) Eastern Michigan (0-5): CMU tore them up last week. Next: Kent St.

4.) Ball State (0-6): The mighty Temple Owls sent them home smarting. Next: BGSU

3.) Miami, Ohio (0-6): At least Northwestern didn’t cover that 19-point

spread against them. Next: Ohio

2.) New Mexico (0-6): They had better win this week if they want a win on the season. Next: UNLV

1.) Rice (0-6): They can even let a running team that likes to eat clock beat them by 50. Next: ECU
