I have offically packed it in as a Leaf fan. I was close at the end of last season when they missed the playoffs yet again. Then some promise in all the Leaf off-season moves inspired me. As did the pre-season with strong outing after strong outing and a very impressive winning record. Then the season began with a overtime lose to the Habs. Then they continued with a terrible outing against the Caps losing 6-4 in a pathetic game. Followed by a annoying 2-1 lose to the Sens. If that wasn't enough a moronic game against the Pens losing 5-2. Never scoring first always trailing and poor goal tending. Now i've been paying attention on my last chance for the Leafs tonight against the Rangers. Sure enough a 2-0 opening first period the same old crap. Now the score is 5-2 and yet another sure lose for the Leafs and Gustavsson will be ruined Toskala is toast and no confidence on the team they are assured yet another failure season for sure. Some may argue it is a early season that does not matter the immense damage is done. Playoffs already out of reach for the Leafs, well done. I offically retire as a Leaf fan regardless of what they do later. So long here we go Oilers.
