Maple Leafs Travel to The Big Apple For Showdown With The Rangers

Lukas by Analyst Written on October 12, 2009
The Maple Leafs (0-3-1) will take to the ice at Madison Square Garden in New York to face the Rangers (3-1-0).

It is going to be a battle of two completley differant teams tonight as the Maple Leafs, who are still looking for their first win, will start the struggling Vesa Toskala in net tonight. Meanwhile, the Rangers, who have won three straight will start Henrik Lundqvist who has been playing outstanding.

The Rangers have had no problem scoring this season with 17 goals for in four games, and Toronto has just ten in their four games.

Toronto will look to no longer be the last team to no longer have more than one point, as they sit dead last in the NHL's standings with just one.

Tonights players to watch are, for the New York Rangers, Micheal Del Zotto, and for Toronto, Vesa Toskala, who has been dreadful in goal for the Bud's this season.
