Bayern Munich trio Thiago Alcantara, Robert Lewandowski and Arturo Vidal reportedly had to be removed by police from referee Viktor Kassai's dressing room after the German club's 4-2 UEFA Champions League defeat to Real Madrid on Tuesday.

According to Jose Luis Sanchez on El Chiringuito (via Sport), the three were unhappy with Vidal's sending off and Cristiano Ronaldo's two offside goals as Bayern were dumped out at the quarter-final stage after extra-time of the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.

UEFA later confirmed there would be no action against Bayern for the criticism against the referee and alleged actions after the match, per Marca.

They were not the only people disappointed with the refereeing.

After losing 2-1 in the opening leg at the Allianz Arena, Bayern managed to force extra time by winning 2-1 in 90 minutes at the Bernabeu.

However, they lost Vidal to an 84th-minute red card after he received a soft second yellow, per Spanish football writer Dermot Corrigan:

Bayern then conceded three in extra-time, two of which were scored by Ronaldo as he completed his hat-trick, but both should arguably have been ruled out for offside, per The Telegraph.

Former Bayern player and two-time Champions League winner Owen Hargreaves highlighted the officials' mistakes, per BT Sport Football:

And Vidal vented his fury after the match, per Marca: "This robbery cannot happen in the Champions League, it was clearly noticeable and it starts to make you doubt [the game] a bit. We wanted to qualify and this gives us a lot of rage, that a match of such intensity can be decided by the referee. He was very wrong and that has knocked us out of Europe."
