Twitter Roasts Warriors for Using Slogan Similar to Cavaliers' 'Defend the Land'

Since LeBron James returned to the Cavaliers, the team has adopted "The Land" as a term for Cleveland.

Fresh off their first-ever NBA title, the Cavs have made "#DefendTheLand" their postseason motto.

Apparently, the Golden State Warriors liked it.

Sunday's 121-109 win over the Portland Trail Blazers featured a sea of Dubs fans at Oracle Arena wearing shirts that read "Defend Our Ground." Twitter produced some amusing responses to the slogan:

Golden State could be alluding to a previous slogan, Warriors Ground, with the new one.

Still, given the timing, it feels like a copycat.
