Isaiah Thomas Laughs at Doubters on April Fools' Day

On a day when people pull cruel pranks on each other, Isaiah Thomas simply laughed at those who didn't take him seriously.

In 2011, the Sacramento Kings selected Thomas with the 60th and final pick of the NBA draft. The 5'9" guard was never expected to blossom into a regular contributor, yet he's now the Eastern Conference's top scorer.

His Boston Celtics entered April brandishing the East's No. 1 seed, and Thomas took to Instagram (via MassLive.com's Jay King) to reflect six years after he declared for the draft.

Once viewed as a joke—at least by his recollection—Thomas now gets to laugh last as an All-Star and fringe MVP candidate.
