A few weeks back, a savage attack on R-Truth was initiated by none other then the newest wrestler in WWE, Drew McIntyre. This is not Drew's first time in WWE; in fact, in 2007 he was brought under the wings of Dave Taylor. Soon after that, Taylor made his departure from WWE and Drew made his way back to the development roster.

WWE is trying so hard to push new wrestlers to succeed, but that is not working out. With all these older wrestlers WWE wants to boost also, the title picture will be out of reach of most newcomers.

McIntyre has shown himself to be one hell of a wrestler, and WWE and many fans really sees something in this kid. Drew McIntyre made his debut in Hell in A Cell by defeating his rival, R-Truth.

But according to lordofpain.net, Drew McIntyre is catching the attention of some of the older wrestlers in the locker room. Triple H is really taking some notice of McIntyre. DX approached R-Truth and told him he could not wear his camouflage jacket to the ring because it is associated with DX.

R-Truth was upset as he was getting ready to go to the ring that night on Hell in A Cell, but he still put on a good match against Drew McIntyre. Now this does not happen very often when somebody like Triple H takes notice in a young star. Especially Triple H, being related to the Chairman, Vince McMahon.

The light will be shining on this young man, maybe even becoming the next Randy Orton. Along with his talent in the ring, he has shown an ability to make the crowd hate him right away, which takes talent.

McIntyre had an impressive tag team match with Kane against R-Truth and Matt Hardy. Of course, McIntyre made the pin instead of The Big Red Machine Kane.

Usually when two wrestlers like Kane and Drew McIntyre are tag teaming, the pinfall will go to Kane, the older, more experienced wrestler, not to a new superstar who just had his second match.

I am excited that the WWE creative team is boosting McIntyre; they made a great decision. The light is definitely shining for Drew McIntyre.
