Birth Of A Legend: The New Rivalry Of Forcier Vs Barkley

Six months ago if someone asked you which college true freshman QB would be the best. 

90% of America would have said it would be Matt Barkley, the stud from Cal, and there would be anyone even close to him. 

Yet now six weeks into the season a new QB has risen from the ashes of Michigan football. Tate Forcier has steeped forward and show skills and poise that make him seem like a grizzlied senior. He has shown poise in his throws, confidence, and that he has ice water running through his veins. He has lead Michigan to four straight wins, and an almost victorious come from behind against Michigan St.

Barkley has been very impressive as well. Leading Southern Cal to the same record and has shown alot of poise. 

Both QB's stats have been very similar, and have been very good for a true freshman. 

The question now has arisen, which QB is better now and which shall have the better career?

Personally I believe that Forcier is going to be the better player overall. Although I believe Barkley will have better stats due to a better program and a better coach.

My argument is that Forcier is so calm in any situation. He has already shown this. When his team is losing he has the ablility to step up and make the big play. His nerve's have no affect on his play. Barkley has no shown this yet, due to playing in most games behind an extremely potent run game and a
