Despite having trouble early in the race, Joey Logano took the checkered flag in the Nationwide Series Copart 300 at California.

Logano was slammed into the outside retaining wall by another driver, and fell back to 25th position. Logano missed a crash with just a few laps to go, which set up a five-lap shootout.

On the final restart, the front of the pack got jumbled up as one of the drivers missed a shift, thus resulting in a two-man race, in which Logano held off Brian Vickers for the win.
