Novak Djokovic sealed a superb straight sets victory over the Swede Robin Soderling to seal his place in the final of the ATP Event in Beijing, China. The result also means that Djokovic will move back to No. 3 in the world rankings on Monday.

Djokovic proved far too strong for Soderling as he emerged a 6-3, 6-3 victor. Soderling took the tennis world by storm earlier this year when he stunned Rafael Nadal in the fourth round of the French Open. It was Nadal's first ever defeat at Roland Garros.

Djokovic gained the No. 3 ranking in 2007 after a superb run of form, but Britain's Andy Murray went past the Serb in May this year. Djokovic, however, has been rewarded for his consistency this year by regaining the No. 3 ranking.

Djokovic has reached the finals in four out of seven Masters 1000 events so far in 2009. If you are a Betting person then you would do well to back Djokovic to win another major next year.
