Croatia's Marin Cilic produced a stunning display of power hitting to upset No. 2 ranked Rafael Nadal and reach the final of the ATP Event in Beijing, China.

Cilic shocked the tennis world last month when he reached the quarter finals of the US Open, beating the No. 2 seed Andy Murray in the 4th round.

This was Cilic's first match against Nadal, and the young Croatian proved far too strong in the first set as he claimed it 6-1. The second set was a little tighter, but Cilic held on to win it 6-3.

Cilic will play the Serbian Novak Djokovic in the final. Cilic and Djokovic played in the fourth round of the US Open last year, and on that occasion Djokovic emerged victorious in four tight sets.

Should Cilic maintain this rich vein of form, then he will have high hopes of reaching the world's top 10. Djokovic on the other hand will be confident that he can upset the Betting Odds and win his third title of the year.
