No. 20 Ole Miss vs. No. 3 Alabama. This game is a talker. I have heard many sides taking Ole Miss and some taking Alabama, but most are taking Alabama. Played in Oxford, Mississippi at Ole Miss, will it effect Ole Miss any that they are at home?
With only one loss, Ole Miss may be coming up to a big challenge, a team with no losses. But if Ole Miss would have beat unranked South Carolina then they may be No. 2 or No. 3. Last weeks win at Vanderbilt didn't bring them up but one spot in the polls.
Some people think that if a team is a higher rank, they will win, so most people think Alabama will win against Ole Miss. Well, Ole Miss played No. 1 Florida and they stomped them and proved that the underdog can win, too. So this could be a suprise and Ole Miss come out and play a good game and Alabama play a bad one.
Alabama is has one of the best defenses in the country and they may be able to keep Ole Miss away from the endzone. But if Ole Miss can play well on offense and try to keep Alabama away from the endzone. They have also been practicing all week and both teams are trying to get their best plays practiced and get their kickers good to go and try to beat the opposing team.
This game could be on ESPN for for weeks after the game. Most of the game should be tied up until about four minutes left in the third quarter and then the other team will strike and hit some points and will get people leaving early.
We will find out at 2:30 central time to find out which team has the better offense and defense. Also, we will find out if Ole Miss will shoot up in the polls or drop back to 30th or lower, and see if Alabama can keep that winning streak going.
