The Wolverine: 17-14 Michigan. The Michigan defense shows up and plays to its ability. This is a defensive showdown in blistery cold conditions. Both offenses are able to move the ball down field but struggle to come up with long drives resulting in points. The game comes down to field position and special teams. Although several field goals are missed on the day, a late field goal clinches it for the Wolverines.
