EA Sports Mocks Vince Young's Comeback Attempt by Offering Him Copy of Madden 17

Vince Young is attempting an NFL comeback. Young last threw an NFL pass in 2011, so not everyone is buying the quarterback's chances of a successful return.

The former Texas Longhorns standout hired agent Leigh Steinberg, who revealed Young's desire to play football again:

When EA Sports saw the story, its official Madden Twitter page expressed doubts that the 33-year-old would play in the NFL again. That is, unless he does so through the video game.

The burn is less clever when you realize the account used the exact same line on former Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher:

Maybe someone should send them a thesaurus to formulate some different retorts.
