Kaka underwent surgery on his left knee for damage to meniscus caused by overuse a few days ago.

By all accounts the surgery went well.

He is currently not included in the Brazilian squad playing the two friendlies against Canada and Venezuela.

It also appears that Kaka will not be an option for Dunga in this month`s World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Argentina.

Can Brazil hope to do well against the tough Paraguay and brilliant Argentina without him?

It will be up to the promising Robinho to show some more of his Copa America genius in order to try to fill the void.

Reports by some sources state that Kaka could be out for up to 3 months. If that is the case, Milan will certainly miss his services for the start to the Scudetto next season
