Oh, it's just too sad to recap.
With the Detroit Red Wings leading 3-2 in the third and less than a minute to go, Maxime Talbot of the Pittsburgh Penguins scored the tying goal, sending the game into overtime.
Then, two and a half overtime periods later, Petr Sykora of the Pens scored, sending Detroit back to Pittsburgh for Game 6.
Game time is 8 p.m. on June 4. Trust me, I'll be watching again, probably this time from behind a pillow.
Here is the high(low)light reel for you.
Now, I think I'll just go cry in my Guinness while I watch "Miracle" and feel good about life again!

Chin up. B. The Wings have 2 more games to close the deal. There's no doubt in my mind they'll prevail... and I'm not even a Detroit fan.
The young Pens gutted it out Monday night, but the Red Wings were all over them. Sid and his kids left it all on the ice - they'll be lucky to have the strength to lace up their skates tomorrow night.
And even if they were to pull out another W at home, there's still game 7 in Deet. At least now it a series.

take it easy, it is not as if it was tied or anything. we ll see what happens tomorrow. and well yeah, we have got a series now.
but I understand from a detroit fan point of view, it must be a bit frustrating.
heads up, take it easy

Worse yet (after what Robers was doing to Franzen, no way I want them to win), Pittsburgh could actually win now--the longer this goes, the more the older Wings risk getting worn down, and the more the pressure mounts on them. The Pens are playing with house money now--I don't think they'll pull it off, but they have about a 1 in 3 shot now.
