Michigan State Basketball, Michigan State Football

All in all, I think that Michigan State did well against #9 Wisconsin last week.

Brian Hoyer continued his solid play with a 22-36, 323 yards and 2 touchdowns. The running game also produced with Javon Ringer running for 145 yards on only 10 carries and Jehuu Caulcrick rushed for 88 yards on 7 carries.

I attribute the loss to the big plays given up by the Spartan defense.

Also, a lot of fourth quarter penalties kept us out of the football game. On the bright side, we learned that the Spartans can hang with the best of them on any given Saturday. Coach Dantonio still needs to improve the defense and the discipline on the team to keep the Spartans rolling.
