Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte announced on Instagram on Wednesday that his fiancee, Kayla Rae Reid, is pregnant with their first child:

Lochte also announced his engagement to the former Playboy model on his Instagram account in October.

According to Emily Krauser of Entertainment Tonight, the two are planning to get married in August or September 2017.

The 32-year-old swimmer is a 12-time Olympic medalist, winning six gold medals over the course of four Summer Games.

However, Lochte is under suspension for 10 months stemming from his role in a scandal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

He lied about a robbery on a night when he and three other swimmers vandalized a gas station, which led the Brazilian government to charge him with falsely reporting a crime.

He also will not be able to compete at the 2017 World Championships despite the event occurring in July—after the end of the 10-month ban.

In the meantime, Lochte has appeared on Dancing with the Stars—finishing seventh—and remains one of the most recognizable Olympians in the United States.
