Andre Johnson was a talented football player during his prime, but he may be an even better Santa Claus.
As Jeff Ehling of ABC 13 explained, the former NFL wide receiver treated local kids to a shopping spree at a Houston-area Toys R Us on Wednesday. The children had 80 seconds, which coincides with the number Johnson wore throughout his career with the Houston Texans.
Johnson spent $19,144.58 at the store, according to Ehling.
This was not a one-off for Johnson. He's done a similar event each of the last nine years.
