Originally, I had "block like Jerry Rice."

In that spirit, I think I'll add go over the middle blind and expect to be pummeled, but hold on to the ball like Rice and Taylor did.

Rice was total class, and we've had just the opposite in the distant past, so I hope Crabtree can get a hold of Rice's phone number.

That criticism is not directed at any current 49ers receivers. I just don't want to dredge up all the pond scum with bad 49ers memories.
