David Molk Will Return in How Many Weeks?

The WolverineCorrespondent IOctober 7, 2009

Center David Molk is still recovering from his broken foot against Eastern Michigan. He is back in the weight room and participating in drills like the power clean, but there are conflicting reports on how soon he'll be back.

The Michigan Daily (no comment) reports that "it could still be two to four weeks before Molk sees the field." The Detroit News reports that Molk is "out 1-2 more weeks."

The latter bases its conclusion on a Coach Rodriguez comment that "it's still a week or two until he's actually playing football."

Who knows which report is correct? Just because he's "playing football" in one to two weeks doesn't mean that he'll return to the field in one to two weeks. It sounds like it could be a few more weeks before Molk returns.
